Welcome

I am a licensed and experienced math teacher and tutor. I have more than 15 years experience tutoring and more than 10 years experience teaching. I have both an undergraduate and a graduate degree in Mathematics Education. I love teaching math and working with students. It's an incredibly rewarding experience to work on hard problems and to really understand why something is working.

I offer a few tutoring services to choose from in the Portland metro area. Please let me know what works best for your family.

Pricing

Pricing is determined by the service requested and the location. You can be billed per month or by the session. Scholarships and discounts are available.

Base Rate:
  • $60 per hour for one-on-one tutoring at my office or nearby location
In-Home Tutoring:
  • Rate are determined by your location. Families in my neighborhood are usually charged $60/hr.
Curriculum and Supplies:
  • Workbooks that I have created- The first copy is free. Reprinting lost workbooks will cost $5.  
  • Textbooks- There will be a refundable deposit of $20 for textbooks that are borrowed
  • TI Calculators- I recommend all student own their own calculator, I will have calculators to borrow during the lesson
Discounts: If your family makes less than median income please let me know and can offer a discount on my services.
